As if the fire was not enough, just as people had re-entered Santa Barbara (after a month long evacuation which included the Christmas holiday for many), Santa Barbara woke up on January 9th to one of the worst devastations on record. Some say it far surpassed the devastation of the Thomas Fire, and in so many ways this is true. 20 lives lost and counting, homes ripped from their foundations, many without “flood insurance” and without anywhere to go. Rebuilding from this devastation is almost difficult to comprehend, but Vining Construction is committed to seeing this through.
